Mrs Doyle believes in people and if ever there was a people who deserve a chance it is the people of Rwanda, they have been through a lot and one of the great things about Rwanda is their fantastic organic loose-leaf tea.

The tea industry has come to be Rwanda and is it's most important economic sector and one of its largest employers with more than 90 % of the tea production is exported.

The plantation Rukeri was founded almost 50 years ago and only produces 700 ton of orthodox tea per year. 

Mrs Doyle's organic Rwanda tea has a long, wiry, mid-brown leaf and the taste is slightly spicy with pleasant citrus notes. In order to keep the leaves of this great tea from breaking, they are moved only minimally during the withering process. The brightly shining cup of this tea is fantastic and releases a spicy-fresh aroma.

All of Mrs Doyle's organic teas are grown in conditions where no pesticides or insecticides are used in their cultivation and comply with the EU regulation (EC) No 834/2007 and the commission regulation (EC) No 889/2008 and are of course ethically sourced.
