Ingredients:

• For the Salad:

  • 4 cups mixed spring greens (arugula, spinach, and romaine)

  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

  • 1/4 cup brewed green tea, cooled
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

1. Brew the Green Tea:
   Start by brewing the green tea. Steep 1 tablespoon of loose-leaf green tea in 1/4 cup of hot water for about 3 minutes. Strain and allow the tea to cool completely.

2. Prepare the Vinaigrette:
   In a small bowl, whisk together the cooled green tea, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Gradually whisk in the olive oil until the mixture is well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

3. Assemble the Salad:
   In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed spring greens, sliced strawberries, cucumber, and red onion. Toss gently to mix.

4. Dress the Salad:
   Drizzle the green tea vinaigrette over the salad, tossing until the ingredients are evenly coated.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup (240ml) milk
• 4 Earl Grey tea bags
• 1 ¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour
• 2 ½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
• 3 large eggs
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• For the Glaze:
  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions:

1. Preheat and Prepare:
   Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.

2. Infuse the Milk:
   Warm the milk without boiling it, then steep the Earl Grey tea bags in the milk for 15 minutes. Squeeze the tea bags to extract maximum flavor and discard them.

3. Mix Dry Ingredients:
   In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

4. Cream Butter and Sugar:
   In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the lemon zest and lemon juice.

5. Combine:
   Alternately add the dry ingredients and the infused milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

6. Bake:

Instructions:

1. Infuse the Cream: Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat, add the Earl Grey tea leaves, and allow them to steep for 5 minutes. Strain the cream through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the tea leaves, pressing on them to extract maximum flavor. Discard the leaves.

2. Make Ganache: Place the finely chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Reheat the infused cream until it simmers again, then pour it over the chocolate. Let it sit for 1 minute to soften the chocolate, then add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth and glossy. If any chocolate pieces remain unmelted, you can gently heat the mixture over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring until smooth.

3. Chill: Cover the ganache with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until the ganache is firm enough to shape.

4. Shape the Truffles: Once chilled, use a melon baller or a small spoon to scoop out portions of the ganache. Roll between your palms quickly to form balls. If the mixture becomes too soft, return it to the refrigerator to firm up.

Cucumber hydrates the skin and is useful for skin inflammation. On the other hand, the combination of green tea and cucumber can help treat pimples and skin acne.

Ingredients for green tea and cucumber mask: 
Brewed green tea: 2 tablespoons
Cucumber: 1/2 a cucumber
Powdered sugar: 2 tablespoons


To prepare this cucumber and green tea mask, you must first peel the cucumber. Then crush the cucumber with a meat grinder or mixer and remove the juice. Then combine green tea and cucumber juice with sugar and mix well. Massage the green tea mask on the skin circularly and in the form of a scrub. Finally, rinse the skin with lukewarm water and apply moisturizing face cream.

2- Green tea mask for dry skin
Honey is a wonderful emollient for the skin, which together with green tea can nourish the skin and remove dryness. The combination of honey and green tea mask reduces inflammation and dryness of the skin and gives a wonderful glow to the skin.

Ingredients for green tea and honey mask for dry skin
Honey: 2 tablespoons
Brewed green tea: 1 tablespoon

To prepare this green tea mask, you need to mix honey and green tea well in a bowl. Then put this mask on the skin for 15 minutes. Finally, wash your skin with lukewarm water. For more effectiveness, you can use this mask once a week.

3- Homemade green tea mask to lighten the skin
Green tea cleanses and removes skin toxins, and its regular use can help brighten, rejuvenate, and brighten your skin.

Ingredients for green tea face mask with baking soda
Brewed green tea: 1 tablespoon
Honey: 2 tablespoons
Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric: 1 tablespoon

To prepare this mask with baking soda and green tea, you must brew green tea in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then combine 1 tablespoon of brewed green tea with baking soda, honey and turmeric powder.
Place the mask on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash your skin with lukewarm water in a circular mode to exfoliate. Be sure to use a facial moisturizer after washing your skin.

4- Green tea and yogurt face mask to hydrate the skin
Yogurt is rich in vitamin B and has a lot of calcium and lactic acid. The combination of yogurt and green tea can hydrate the skin and prevent skin dryness.

Ingredients for making a face mask are green tea and yogurt:

Yogurt: 2 tablespoons
Flaky oats: 1 tablespoon
Green tea bag: 1 pc

To prepare this yogurt and green tea mask, you need to combine rolled oats with yogurt and green tea in a bowl. Then put this mixture on the skin for 10 minutes. Then wash and dry your skin. For more effectiveness, you can use this mask twice a week.

5- Green tea and mint mask for open skin pores
Green tea is rich in antioxidants and therefore deeply cleanses the skin. One of the properties of mint is to soothe and clean the skin better.

Ingredients for green tea mask with mint:
Brewed green tea: 2 tablespoons
Crushed mint: 2 tablespoons
Honey: 1 tablespoon

To make this green tea mask for skin pores, you need to mix tea, mixed mint and natural honey. Then put this mask on the skin for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, wash your face with lukewarm water. For more effectiveness, it is recommended to use this mask twice a week.

6- Green tea mask with orange peel

Orange peel is rich in vitamin C and along with the various antioxidants of green tea, it can help rejuvenate the skin and prevent skin wrinkles.

Ingredients for green tea mask with orange peel:

Brewed green tea: 1 tablespoon

Dried orange peel powder: 1 tablespoon

Honey: 1/2 teaspoon

To make a mask of green tea with orange peel and honey, you must first combine green tea with a little boiling water and let it brew for a few minutes. Then combine 1 teaspoon of green tea with powdered orange peel and honey and mix well until your mask is ready.

Now put this mask on the skin for 15 minutes and then wash your skin with lukewarm water. For more effectiveness, you can use this mask twice a week.

7- Green tea and turmeric mask 
Among the benefits of turmeric is that it has anti-inflammatory properties and can help prevent acne and clear the skin. Green tea also soothes and exfoliates the skin and balances the oiliness of the skin.

Ingredients for green tea and turmeric mask:
Chickpea flour: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
Freshly brewed green tea: 2 teaspoons

To prepare this mask, you should combine chickpea flour, turmeric and green tea, then put this green tea mask on the skin for 15 minutes. Finally, wash your skin and then use a facial moisturizer. you can use this mask twice a week.

It seems  a little filtered tea into at least one of your daily glasses of water could provide you with enough wrinkle-fighting antioxidants and detoxifying botanicals to keep you looking young and also feeling fresher than when you were 21.

Our skin is the largest organ we have, the secret of great glowing skin is to be healthy. Organic green teas have lots of polyphenols which can help fight free radicals and so help prevent skin damage from UV light, which is one of the main causes of  wrinkles. 

When we get a little older we have more exposure to UV light, and your skin can look old and it can even change the skins colour. In some studies Oolong tea has been found to have skin lighting abilities and may decrease the amount of melanin at the cellular level.

Also Teas made with cinnamon can help curb some peoples appetite? How cinnamon works is not exactly known but it is believed that it keeps blood glucose levels stable and so reduces cravings, so adding cinnamon to food can help reduce glucose levels after eating .

Its almost Saint Patrick's Day and Mrs Doyle is of course Irelands most famous tea lady so here's her favorite green tea mocktail ! So go on enjoy Irelands National day and go green 

Here's how you do it,  make a pot of Mrs Doyle's minty tea, not too hot, add a dash of ENNIS Irish non alcoholic gin, with a dash of lemon and a little lime juice and garnish with a few little Irish shamrocks and if your Canadian , may be a little maple syrup
